Conversations on a Couch: An Evening with the Noah Community

To celebrate the launch of our Torio Sofa, Noah welcomed the Berlin design community for an evening with music, panel talk and celebration at our showroom. The panel talk Conversations on a Couch, moderated by Valerie Präkelt, brought together creative voices as Anahita Sadighi, Clemens Poloczek, and Leonie Pauls alongside our founders to reflect on design, wellbeing, and the sofa as a space for gathering, dialogue, and exchange.

To celebrate the launch of our new Torio Sofa, we invited friends of Noah and the Berlin design community to our showroom for an evening of conversation, ideas, and connection. The event marked the beginning of a new talk series titled Conversations on a Couch, a format developed together with German design journalist and moderator Valerie Präkelt. Hosted in our showroom and moderated by Valerie, the series brings inspiring design personalities together on a sofa to explore topics at the intersection of design, wellbeing, and production.

Together, the panel explored themes such as longevity in design, the sofa as the centrepiece of domestic space, the development of Torio, and the role of colour and material choices.

For this first edition, we had the pleasure of having our Noah founders René Martens and Dario Schröder alongside photographer Clemens Poloczek - who captured the Torio campaign, Anahita Sadighi - protagonist and creative director of the campaign, and interior designer and content creator Leonie Pauls - a long-term friend and collaborator of Noah. The conversation also touched on the process behind building a cohesive and successful creative campaign. As the talk came to a close, Basic Instinct set the tone for the rest of the evening with a DJ set, and we continued the night in good company.
